When Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 or above is hoisted or Black Rainstorm Warning is issued, the following screenings at Hong Kong Arts Centre will be cancelled, with the following exception: if Black Rainstorm Warning is issued after the 1st screening of the day has started, the remaining screenings will proceed as scheduled but the electronic Chinese subtitles may not be provided.

If the warning signal is lowered 3 hours or more before the screening starts, all screenings will be shown as scheduled. Refunds will be made to ticket holders who cannot attend the screening during the affected period. Ticket holders may fill out refund application form online or return the completed form (download here) with ticket(s) by post to the Hong Kong International Film Festival Society Limited (Unit B, 3rd Floor, Block B, Wing Hong Factory Building, 777-783 Yu Chau West Street, Kowloon, Hong Kong) on or before 8 August 2025. All services fees will not be refunded.
